9.6.11 - Sons Of Anarchy 4th Season premiere.


FX opening it's fall season with the return of the award-winning hit drama Sons of Anarchy tonight, and will continue to run Tuesdays at 10 PM ET/PT. SOA is an adrenalized drama with a dark comedic undertone that explores a notorious outlaw motorcycle club’s desire to protect its livelihood while ensuring that there simple, sheltered town of Charming, California which remains exactly that, charming. Sons of Anarchy is the #1-rated series in FX history. Star Katey Sagal, won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Drama for her performance last season.
The series had it's premiere last week, Thursday, at The Arclight Theaters in Los Angeles, with Katey and the rest of the cast in attendance. The date also coincided with the release of Season 3 on DVD.

2011 Angel Awards: A Big City with Big Heart! Project Angel Food (founded in 1989) delivers meals to people living with HIV/AIDS, cancer and life threatening illnesses. The healthy meals are prepared and delivered in the Los Angeles area and the organization serves more than 13,000 meals a week. Lisa Lillen received honors for her exceptional service to the organization. Her trademark Hungry Girl book and television series are seen weekly by millions on Food Network and Cooking Channel as she advises how to make delicious meals while cutting out the calories. Also honored was Dante Di Loreto, the producer of the hit series Glee and The Glee Project. Jessica Lange, star of the upcoming FX Networks "American Horror Story" headlined an evening of fine dining and generous giving. Also in attendance, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Anthony Edwards, (E.R) and Leslie David Baker, (The Office). At the end of the end of the evening, Project Angel Food CEO Margaret Steele announced "The money raised tonight will directly provide more than 70,000 meals".

The Capitol Records Tower in Hollywood will be lit in red on Tuesday in honor of the release of Nothing But The Beat, making it the first time that the landmark building has ever been lit to mark an album’s release.

The French-born Guetta is in the U.S. this week for a number of events celebrating the release of Nothing But The Beat.
