City of Heroes previews Issue 20: Incarnates Ascend

Pretty much every time the development team at Paragon Studios answers gamer questions, there’s a question that comes up about updating older substence in City of Heroes. And usually the answer is a pretty standard one, a promise that updates will be looked at but aren’t on any sort of specific timetable. It’s a bit generic as answers go -- but the newest producer’s letter for the game goes into more detail about why substence gets updated, why it doesn’t necessarily get updated, and the fact that there will be updates to legacy substence in the future.

The usual rationale for fewer updates is the amount of work concerned in updating this CoV infamy, but the letter explains in more detail that it’s not enough for substence just to be old. In order to be ripe for a reworking, the task force or zone has to be underutilized to begin with, which gives a good factorfor development to try to revitalize the substence. City of Heroes gamers will be happy to note that the letter also promises revamps coming to the early leveling areas in the near future -- while it doesn’t specify the facts, more information will be forthcoming in the coming weeks.

If there is something we love in this game is the PK system in 2Moons: not only it is possible to kill other players but also you get punished by it, meaning that not everyone can PK, only those who can level up despite the punishment. Next we give some details on about Pking and also on its consequences.

a. Set your return point to Parka Temple if you are level(2moons dil) 60 or less, we are level(2Moonspowerleveling) 59 so we can talk about what happens next. So if you get pked and you are red, at least you will be able to kill some monster and lower your IP without being attacked by a swarm of PK killers.

b. In order to PK you need to select the target and with the ctrl key pressed use the skill button.

c. If you are a suMMOner use first your pet attack to keep the victim busy (dekaron dil).

d. Use first your strongest attack, use the surprise effect.

Level 1-7 in 2Moons: stay inside the castle. It will be pretty easy because you can actually level up by like 7 in like 10 minutes.

Level 8-15: Go to North Ares/Denebe, they are located north side to the castle… Press M and you see it in the map.

Level(2moons dil) 16-24: Denebe… Look in the map in North Ares or Morte.

Level 25-34: Go to Heinharp. It is the Snow Place north to Denebe. Get a party first. In case you do not know what we are talking about. Just level up to 25 and you will understand.

Level(2moons dil) 34-45: Go to Nunvice. It is extremely high exp. It is located in requires beach. You get there by going to denebe and look the map.

45-55: Go to Norak/Castor 2nd floor. It is the most boring stage of the game. We almost quit there. You will have to walk a lot till level 50, when you get to 50 you can transport there.

55-60: Go to Crespo.. Awesome EXP and fun contrary to the boring caves you faced for a couple of levels earlier. Well, from 60+ you WILL understand almost every feature in the game.

Whew, it took me quite a time to finish this. If anybody wants to tell us or ask us something, please post it up. We will make sure to check dekaron dil frequently.

Sometimes our biggest weakness can become our biggest strength. Take, for example, the story of one 10-year-old boy who decided to study judo despite the fact that the had lost his left arm in a devastating car accident.

The boy began lesson with an old Japanese judo master. The boy was done well, so he couldn’t understand why, after three months of training, the master had taught him only one move.

"Master," the boy finally said, "shouldn’t I be learning more moves?"

"This is the only move you know swg credits, but this is the only move you’ll ever need to know," the master replied.

Not quite understanding, but believing in his teacher, the boy kept training.

Several months later, the swg credits master took the boy to his first tournament.

To his surprise, the boy easily won his first two matches. The third match proved to be more difficult, but after some time, his opponent became impatient and charged; the boy deftly used his one move to win the match. Still amazed by his success, the boy was now in the finals.

Soon after the match resumed, his opponent made a critical mistake: he dropped his guard. Instantly, the boy used his move to pin him. The boy had won the match and the tournament. He was the champion.
