they would like to collect data on gamemodes, time played and myriad other details (but nothing personally identifying!) about how players are using the game, and they notchbuy wow gold has put forth the suggestion that the game be able to collect anonymous information during gameplay, so they can get a better idea of how people play minecraft, and adjust the game to cater better to players going forward. this feature is not currently implemented, but mojang would like to, and are asking for your input on the matter. you can help them out by

LotRO has failed wow

While the decline of older games may be inevitable, the real concern is that no one has come forward to replace them. EverQuest II launched simultaneously with WoW and likely sits in the upper tier of "other" subscriber MMOs, but it never reached the same heights as the original EverQuest. City of Villains, as mentioned, likely prolonged the life of City of Heroes, but according to NCsoft financials, only had 139,313 subscribers as of September of this year. Lord of the Rings Online has only 13 servers <Editor's Note: That number is for North American only, as Codemasters administrates additional servers in Europe> (by comparison, CoH/V has 15), which translates into a minimum of 150,000 subscribers and a generous maximum of 400,000. Even at the high end, that doesn't match EverQuest in its prime. And Tabula Rasa? It has only four active North American and European servers, no doubt a huge disappointment for NCsoft.image

The really scary thing for MMO investors and developers is the basic fact that Lord of the Rings Online was actually a very good game. It did everything everyone said they needed to do in a post-WoW era. It's polished, it's fun, it launched smoothly and it has a monster mainstream IP behind it. Yet, despite these things, and the supposedly expanded marketplace, LotRO has failed to capture even as many eyeballs as the original EverQuest did.

Project V.I.L.E. is being developed for the PC platform, but Vile Studios is looking into releasing this epic Sci-Fi Fantasy MMORPG across multiple platforms. There is an underlying storyline and Project V.I.L.E.'s flow follows this but takes a back seat to the thrill of the action. As they progress in level, they can choose to change their training to better suit their needs i.e. if there is a shortage of medics, then a player can choose to train in this field. Players level up by completing set missions. Increased stats and skills are obtained on each level and also some selective skills can be gained over time. Choosing to complete missions from particular parties will gain players reputation with that party, which would be redeemable for items, money and other worldly possessions. Players travel from planet-to-planet to level wow gold up. Each race has its very own home world, moon(s) and solar systems where safe travel can only be given to races of the same faction.
